I would like to say a massive thank you to the Jack Bloor Fund for the financial support that helped make my altitude training camp in Font Romeu possible.
The camp was a really valuable opportunity to spend time training at altitude alongside a strong group of athletes, helping me build my fitness and prepare for the second half of the season. Being able to focus fully on my training in such a good environment made a real difference to my preparation.
Following the camp, I went on to achieve 3rd and 4th place finishes at two national races, as well as 12th place at a European Cup in Alanya, Turkey. Additionally I ran a 5km run PB of 14:08 placing 7th at the home nations 5km event. I believe the work put in during the camp played an important role in these performances and helped me head into these races in good shape.
Support from the Jack Bloor Fund has made a genuine difference, helping ease the financial pressures of competing at this level and allowing me to focus on performing to the best of my ability. It has also helped open up opportunities that might otherwise have been much harder to access.
Thank you again for your generosity and belief in supporting my triathlon journey. I am extremely grateful for the opportunities this support has given me and look forward to building on these results as I continue working towards my goals.
